This fall, we're celebrating 10 years of WayStation—a decade of partnership, compassion, and lifesaving impact.
Over the past 10 years, the program has helped transport and find homes for more than 30,000 dogs while giving back an incredible $1.02 million to our partner organizations to support their own lifesaving work. These milestones are a testament to the power of collaboration and the dedication of the people behind the program.
A special shoutout to the entire WayStation team for their tireless work coordinating transports, building partnerships, and ensuring every journey is a success. Because of their commitment, thousands of animals have had the chance to start a new chapter.
Congratulations on 10 amazing years of WayStation!

Just a few heartfelt messages from some of the WayStation Partners:
St. Hubert’s Animal Shelter’s WayStation program provides a vital lifeline for the Sylacauga Animal Shelter and the pets in our care. As a volunteer, one of my responsibilities is organizing adoption events within and around our community, where we work to educate families about low-cost spay and neuter programs, responsible pet care, preventatives, and the importance of regular veterinary checkups, while also finding loving homes for our animals. Although we are often successful in educating our community and connecting pets with families, finding homes for every animal can be challenging. We are incredibly grateful to St. Hubert’s WayStation program for providing another path to safety and a loving forever home when our local adoption opportunities are limited. Their support gives our animals a second chance and helps ensure that more animals have the opportunity to find the family they deserve.

We thank you, St Hubert’s and the WayStation for helping so many wonderful Aiken County homeless dogs received at the shelter through no fault of their own. Thank you for the opportunity of being our Big Sister Shelter!
