A goal of this program is inspire our youth participants to be mindful about their food choices and explore the benefits of a plant-based diet for one’s health, the environment, and animals. At the same time, we recognize that food is a very personal issue and we approach this subject in a non-judgmental, transparent and open manner.
Program participants will only interact with our adoptable animals who have been determined to be social and friendly, and this interaction will be under adult supervision. Nevertheless, we do require that parents/guardians of all participants sign a standard release of liability waiver.
