Puppy and Basic Training

Puppy Kindergarten       

This 8-week course is the best possible way to get your puppy started on the right track. Work on socialization skills while spending some quality bonding time with your puppy in a safe environment while you and your puppy learn how to communicate with each other. Our professional trainers will show you how to teach your newest family member the important basics such as sit, down, come, and loose leash walking as well as give you tips on housetraining, household manners, puppy mouthing and more! Class is limited to 8-10 puppies between the ages of 8-18 weeks when the course begin. All puppies must have their age appropriate vaccinations (distemper, hepatitis and parvo) to participate in class. Cost $199.      

The first week of class is an orientation. We ask that you not bring your dog to the orientation so the instructor can have your undivided attention as they go over what you can expect from the class. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG TO THE FIRST CLASS.

NOTE: Handlers must be at least 14 years of age or older.  Anyone under 18 must have an adult present during all classes.  All family members are welcome to attend and observe the class.        

*** Add  additional socialization with a 45 minute playful puppies playgroups. Register under play and social playgroups.    Next playgroup:     Tues 7/18 @ 12:30pm & Mon 8/7 10:00am .             

Basic For Puppy Grads

You’ve laid the foundation for your puppy in our Puppy Kindergarten course but continuing education is the key to ensuring that your puppy builds on those skills. This 6-week course is a continuation of your early puppy training and will help you to continue training using the most innovative reward-based training techniques. Behaviors taught are sit, down, stay, come with distractions, wait, leave-it, how to walk nicely on a leash, sit for petting, go to place and more! Cost $159.

 *****Please note: Prerequisite is your puppy has graduated from our Puppy Kindergarten class If you did not take our Puppy Kindergarten class you would register for Basic Training.**** 

NOTE: Handlers must be at least 14 years of age or older.  Anyone under 18 must have an adult present during all classes.  All family members are welcome to attend and observe the class.

Class is limited to 8 dogs that have graduated from our Puppy Kindergarten course

Basic Training    

This is an 8-week basic training course where you and your dog will build a solid foundation of behavioral skills. Because this is a group class, your dog will become better able to work around distractions. With our coaching, you will become better at communicating with your dog effectively. The skills taught are: sit, down, stay, here, wait, leave-it, and release. Basic training is for all dogs; it’s for the total beginner or for dogs who have already had some training.  Cost $199.

Petite Pals           

In this course, your dog will be learning skills such as sit, down, come, loose leash walking, wait, leave it, back up, and sit for petting while in the company of similar-sized peers. This 8-week course is limited to 8-10 dogs that are 5 months or older and is specifically designed for dogs 30 lbs. or less. Cost $199.

The first week of class is an orientation. We ask that you not bring your dog to the orientation so the instructor can have your undivided attention as they go over what you can expect from the class. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG TO THE FIRST CLASS.
