Project Compassion For High School Classroom Teachers

Project Compassion is designed to empower and inspire high school students to be leaders in their community on the issue of animal welfare.

Students will:

  • understand the psychological, physical, and behavior needs of cats and dogs from newborns to old age, and the facets of proper care that derive from their needs.

  • develop an extensive knowledge base about animals welfare and the opportunities for creating positive change.

  • enhance their critical thinking and communication skills through a variety of activities.

  • utilize and build upon their intrinsic empathy for others.

  • learn about a diversity of careers in the animals welfare field.
