Topics covered in this interactive course include, but not limited to Pet First Aid, Animal CPR, Preparing for and Reacting to Pet Emergencies, Hands on Practicals, Best Practice” tips, Planning and Preparing for Disasters. Certified Instructor Geoff Goyette, VP of Training and Development for Career Development Institute, will present material much the same as that being taught to Animal Control Officers, Humane Law Enforcement Officers, and other animal emergency first responders.
Tuition is $80.00 per person, a portion of which benefits homeless animals in St. Hubert’s care, and class size is limited. Attendees receive a pet first aid textbook and will receive certification from Emergency Care and Safety Institute (certificate and wallet card) at course conclusion.
No prerequisites or experience are required to attend. Participants must be 16 years of age or older to register.
