PET LOSS SUPPORT GROUPAre you facing the unfortunate decision of euthanasia, dealing with the daily reality that your companion pet is gone, struggling with whether to get another pet, or looking for ways to memorialize your pet? Losing a beloved pet through death or separation is devastating. Very often you do not have anyone you feel will understand your feelings or grief. St. Hubert's will offer you the understanding, guidance and support you need through its free support group sessions. The group is facilitated by two professional counselors: Ms. Nancy Saxton-Lopez, MSW, CSW, ACSW and Mr. Ken Dolan-DelVecchio, LMFT, LCSW, DVS. Sessions are held the first and third Tuesday of the month from 7:30-9:00 pm at St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center, 575 Woodland Avenue, Madison, NJ. If you have any questions or need directions, please call St. Hubert's during regular business hours 10:00 - 4:00 pm at (973) 377-7094. To speak with one of the counselors prior to any group session or to arrange for private sessions, please call (973) 998-6920 to speak to Ken Dolan-DelVecchio, or (201) 447-1409 to speak to Nancy Saxton-Lopez. (There is a fee for private sessions.) Click here for more information on pet loss support.
