The mission of St. Hubert’s Cat Society is to bring together people who enjoy the unique friendship of their feline companions and to help support the cats at St. Hubert’s. We care for nearly 2,500 cats annually that pass through the doors at our Madison and North Branch shelters.

Membership in St. Hubert’s Cat Society is $30.00 per year. Your membership includes advance notice to our annual event, The Cat Society Afternoon Tea, and other special events.  It also qualifies you as a member of St. Hubert’s and you will receive our newsletter, Humane News.

Each February, St. Hubert’s holds an afternoon tea as a fundraiser to benefit the shelter cats at St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center.

Past programs at the tea have included lectures on feline behavior, medical information, and cats in the media. In 2001, Animal Actors International introduced the audience to an African Serval Cat!

This event is also the kick off to our Statewide Pet Food Drive. Items such as cat food, litter, toys and litter boxes are collected to assist New Jersey’s animal shelters. In past years, St. Hubert’s has distributed over 50 tons of food and supplies annually to over 70 shelters and rescue groups statewide.

We hope you will join in the festivities with Fellow Feline Fanciers and share a selection of flavorful teas and a fabulous array of culinary delights from area caterers, sure to satisfy the most finicky palate!
