We're holding our first online pet photo calendar contest to raise funds for the homeless animals in our care. Maybe your favorite furry, fur-less, or feathered friend will be on the cover of the St. Hubert's 2014 Pet Photo Calendar and become a star! Click HERE to enter today!
This 4-week course is designed to help you and your pet participate in pet therapy visits at various facilities that contract with our Paws for People program. Once certified through our Paws for People volunteer program, you and your pet can visit hospitals, nursing homes, and other care facilities that St. Hubert's has teamed up with for animal therapy support. Taking your pet to visit with people who are elderly, ill, or unable to have pets is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have with your companion.
Our goal is to ensure that you and your canine companion are ready to pass the certification test after completing this short 4-week course. In order for you and your dog to have the greatest chance for success, we require that your dog must have completed our Basic Training course or its equivalent, be at least one year of age, and be able to reliably sit, down, and stay on command.
