Animal Welfare Services
Pet Adoption Program — Finding responsible and loving owners for homeless dogs and cats is the heart of our work at St. Hubert's. The decision to acquire a pet should be made carefully, and St. Hubert's adoption counselors work closely with potential owners to find animal companions that will suit their lifestyles and preferences. All pets are spayed or neutered, up to date on their vaccinations, and bathed and groomed before heading to their new homes.
Animal Rescue & Control— Being there for animals in need is a very important service provided by St. Hubert's to both the animals and their owners. Our caring and professional staff attends to the needs of approximately 4,500 cats, dogs and small wildlife every year. Our state-certified animal control officers are on call 24 hours a day to respond to companion animal emergencies within the many municipalities we serve.
Lost & Found — St. Hubert's staff take complete reports on lost pets to compare with animals in the shelter and any incoming animals. St. Hubert's also provides advice on how to plan for if you and your pet become separated.
